2018, very close to death from late stage Type Ii diabetes. Insulin injections didn't even touch it. Found MCT oil and keto. hba1c hadn't been below 100mmol/mol for over a decade, it dropped from 106mmol/mol to 45mmol/mol in a month without insulin or Metformin, just diet. Recovery was total.

It’s amazing that keto isn’t recommended as a baseline diet for type 2 diabetes. Back before we had insulin and oral medications, this was the management approach used.

Question: Do you take all that in the morning or spaced throughout the day and evening?

I bung it all down with food, one meal a day.

Omega 3 : better up to at least 3000mg/day

Take Glycin ( Aminoacid) Body needs 10g/day

It tastes sweet ( can put in coffee, tea , yoghurt )

..and helps to produce Gluthation

Thanks for this info Dr. T, I'm glad that you are doing this series on "Power Supplements". Orthomolecular Products makes a supplement called OrthoMune that has NAC, C,D,Zinc and Quercetin-it's another good one that I take regularly. I'm looking forward to your next post.

Hello from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Thank you for your posts that I find spot on! I am curious about timing of these supplements as well as what to take and not take together? Any advice or direction as to where to find this info? Thank you.

Greetings Geri,

Would love to get to the Shenandoah Valley at some point, for sure! Here in WA state we have a lovely blanket of snow, and I just saw our local youth performance of The Nutcracker so my Christmas mood is in full-swing :)

As to your question, no strong ideas here regarding NAC other than to take on an empty stomach for best absorption.

Regards,

Dr. Turner

In my experience The GOV wants you to think it's hard to get N.A.C.

They were only successful at getting AMAZON TO STOP SELLING IT DURING THE PLANDEMIC.

Believe me when I tell you there are LOTS OF HIGH QUALITY N.A.C. BEING SOLD IN MANY PLACES, We just have to use that pesky thing called our BRAIN 🧠 AND COMMON SENSE , which sadly after those toxic Jabs 💉 a lot of people seem to have no common sense reasoning skills at all.

Yea DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE N,A.C. IS EASY TO GET

When my son was younger he would pull his hair out. I took him to a hypnotherapist and also gave him NAC, as I'd read it was helpful with such behaviors. He stopped, and has never resumed, 10 years later. I use it primarily for a chronic cough, the cause of which appears to stump allergists, pulmonologists and ENTs (although all willing to provide lifetime pharmaceutical treatments). It helps a lot, especially when I take regular saunas. I notice if I miss a dose, that's for sure.

I’ve taken N-acetyl L-cysteine for several years and it is a good one. Note the ‘L’ configuration. I take this form of NAC because of its better absorbancy than the version without the ‘L’. Chemically, both versions are very similar other than different configurations of carbon and hydrogen atoms.
